This Victorian country house hotel is in Snowdonia National Park, looking out over its own quiet grounds to the hills and mountains. It has luxury rooms and an award-winning restaurant. The Dolserau Hall Hotel was built in 1860 and has many original features. It is 2 miles from the foot of the Cadair Idris mountain. The large rooms have luxury bedding, towels and toiletries from Molton Brown. Each room has tea/coffee and there is fresh milk in a small fridge on each floor. A traditional full Welsh breakfast is available each day. There is a bar, a Victorian walled garden and free parking for guests. Free Wi-Fi can be accessed in the lounges, bistro and bar. The Winter Garden Restaurant has won an AA Rosette for its fresh, locally sourced food.

Dolgellau is the nearest town, situated about 2 miles from the hotel. You can reach it on foot along the old railway track. A 5-minute drive will get you to the main car park in town. A stone town within the Snowdonia National Park, it rests beneath the Cader Idris range of mountains in the Arran Valley. Once the parliamentary town of Owain Glyndwr and the principal centre of the Meirionnydd wool trade, it remains a busy market town and the home of an important trading centre for Welsh mountain sheep and Welsh Black cattle. Livestock markets are held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the year. A small domestic market is held in the Marian car park on Friday mornings. The bi-annual fair is held around the 20 April and September.

Our single rooms enjoy all the little extras found in all our bedrooms - Egyptian cotton linen, fluffy bath sheet, a comfortable armchair, luxury toiletries and lovely views. One single room is in the adjoining Coach House.

Classic rooms are all comfortably appointed with a king-size bed, crisp white linen, an en suite bathroom with luxury toiletries, comfortable armchairs and a welcome glass of sherry. All rooms enjoy lovely views of the surrounding meadows and mountains.
Principal En Suite Double (2+0)

Principal rooms are spacious, light and airy, giving the best of the views. They all come with a King-size bed and newly refurbished bathrooms. Features include luxury dressing gowns, Egyptian cotton bed linen, fluffy bath sheets and a TV/DVD player with free film library. These rooms really are worth the extra cost. One of the Principal rooms is in the Coach House, with dual aspect views and lovely outlook over the walled garden and up to the mountains beyond. Principal rooms are allocated on confirmation of your booking with the hotel.
Superior En Suite Double (2+0)

Superior rooms are all spacious and light and boast lovely views. Enjoy crisp white bed linen, luxury toiletries, a king-size bed, comfortable armchairs and a welcome decanter of sherry. There is a good selection of in-room refreshments, and fresh milk is available. Two of the superior rooms are in the Coach House, with lovely views over the Victorian Walled Garden. Superior rooms are allocated when the booking is confirmed by the hotel.
